Jessica Erebor, MS Ed., LMFT

About Jessica:
I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with over 7 years of experience working with teens, adults, couples, and families. I earned my bachelor’s in psychology from Manchester University in 2014 and my master’s in Counselor Education with a focus in Couples and Family Therapy from IPFW in 2018. When I’m not in session, I’m usually spending time with family and friends, cuddling my cats, cross stitching or learning a new craft, or traveling and experiencing new cultures. These activities remind me of what matters most - connection, creativity, curiosity, and making space for the things that bring us joy.

What can you expect from a session with Jessica?
Life can feel overwhelming sometimes. Maybe you’re stuck in patterns that aren’t working, struggling with anxiety or past experiences that won’t let go, or finding it hard to connect with the people who matter most. I get it, and I’m here to help you find your way through. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, or just feeling stuck, I’m here to walk alongside you. Let’s work together to help you get unstuck and reconnect with the life you want to live.

What treatment methods and tools does Jessica utilize?
My approach is gentle and compassionate. I blend evidence-based techniques like mindfulness and relaxation with a go-with-the-flow style that adapts to your unique needs. And yes, a little humor and silliness might sneak in sometimes, too. I’m non-judgmental and genuinely believe in your capacity to grow and heal. But here’s what really matters: my goal is for you to leave every session feeling heard, hopeful, and closer to what you want in life. I work collaboratively with my clients, which means we move at your pace, not mine. Together, we’ll learn to lean into the difficult thoughts, feelings, and memories that have been keeping you stuck, so you can get unhooked from them and build practical skills to move toward what matters most to you. You have permission to be human here - messy feelings and all. I’ve trained extensively in approaches that actually work - including EMDR (basic training compared and working toward certification), Gottman Method Level 2 for couples, ACT, DBT, CBT, and trauma-focused therapies.
